APTOS Lift, also known as the Feather Lift, is a minimally invasive method of facial rejuvenation intended for people who do not have a significant excess of skin but want a firmer and tighter appearance. The technique was developed by Dr. Marlen Sulamanidze and is based on the use of special polypropylene threads which, without incisions or scars, are inserted through injection needles into the sagging areas of the face. The result is immediate lifting and firming of the skin with a natural appearance.
The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia and takes a very short time, and the post-operative recovery is minimal. The application of cold compresses is advised to reduce swelling and bruising, while the patient can resume everyday activities after just 5–7 days. Given its non-invasiveness and short recovery time, the APTOS Lift is an excellent alternative to a classic facelift for those who want visible results without a longer recovery.
