About us
The married couple Dr. Ines Maletić, a specialist in anesthesiology, resuscitation and intensive care, and Dr. Duško Maletić, a specialist in surgery and urology, founded Poliklinika Dr. Maletić in Daruvar in 1998. About a decade later their daughter Dr. Ana Maletić, a specialist in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery, joined them.
We regularly attend all major events, congresses and training courses in the field of aesthetic surgery in Europe and around the world, where we participate as lecturers with professional papers based on the experience gained in our own clinic.
Since 2008, Poliklinika Maletić has been an educational center for laser lipolysis, laser treatment of excessive underarm sweating, laser vein surgery, laser facial rejuvenation and other laser procedures in the field of aesthetic surgery. In cooperation with the Fotona Laser&Health Academy, we run training courses for physicians from all over the world; the training is held at our Poliklinika in Zagreb and Daruvar, but also in other countries where, as invited lecturers and educators, we hold trainings and courses and, during individual procedures, demonstrate how to apply lasers in medicine and aesthetic surgery.
Poliklinika Maletić was among the first in Croatia to introduce modern methods of hair transplantation and for more than 25 years has been successfully helping patients address hair loss.
He was born in 1955. He graduated from the School of Medicine at the University of Zagreb in 1978 and earned his master’s degree in 1983. He passed his specialist examination in surgery at the Rebro Clinical Hospital Center in Zagreb in 1984, and his specialist examination in urology in 1988. In 1993 and 1994 he trained in the field of aesthetic surgery in Prague, then in Switzerland in 1995, in 1996 in the United States, and later in Italy and Austria. Since 2008 he has worked as an Expert Clinical Lecturer in the field of clinical practice at the Laser&Health Academy. He regularly attends all the major gatherings in the field of aesthetic surgery.
She was born in 1957. She graduated from the School of Medicine at the University of Zagreb in 1981, and passed her specialist examination in anesthesiology, resuscitation and intensive care in 1989 at the Sestre milosrdnice Clinical Hospital (Vinogradska). She trained in the Czech Republic and Austria and teaches as an Expert Clinical Lecturer in the field of clinical surgery at the Laser&Health Academy. She regularly attends all the major gatherings in the field of aesthetic surgery.
Ana Maletić, dr. sc. med. graduated in 2009 from the School of Medicine at the University of Zagreb and then passed her specialist examination in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery. She perfected hair transplantation in the United States, Poland, Italy, Turkey, Austria and Georgia. She completed her training in the use of lasers in aesthetic medicine at the Laser & Health Academy. In the field of chemical peels she trained in Israel and France. Since 2017 Dr. Ana Maletić has been the CEO of Poliklinika Maletić and the head of the hair transplantation center at Poliklinika Maletić.
Ana Maletić is the only person from Croatia admitted to full membership of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS), the international association of physicians specializing in hair transplantation. This society brings together the best hair transplantation physicians from all over the world. Through her advancement she also earned the title „Fellow ISHRS, FISHRS” which is awarded only to the best members of the society and requires many criteria to be met beforehand. Only a very small number of ISHRS members hold this prestigious title.
Dr. Ana Maletić passed the international examination in hair transplantation, thus becoming one of 260 physicians from around the world to pass this very demanding exam, and earned the title of ABHRS Diplomate. After passing the hair transplantation examination she was also admitted to the ABHRS (the American board of physicians specializing in hair transplantation) and the IBHRS (the international board of physicians specializing in hair transplantation). She regularly takes part in aesthetic surgery congresses and hair transplantation congresses around the world as a guest lecturer, presenting her own achievements and those of Poliklinika Maletić to her colleagues. She is also a member of the ISHRS Pro Bono Program, in which physicians transplant hair free of charge for people who have lost hair, eyebrows or other body hair as a result of trauma, a traffic accident or fire, or who are left with scars after a procedure and cannot afford a transplant.
Dr. Ana Maletić is the author and co-author of numerous scientific papers indexed in CC and SCIE.
In March 2026 she defended her doctoral dissertation at the School of Medicine of the University of Zagreb, titled „The association of hair transplantation with biopsychosocial health factors” – thereby rounding off her achievements on all levels: professional, clinical and scientific.
He was born in Pakrac in 1966, where he completed primary and secondary school, then enrolled at the School of Medicine of the University of Zagreb and graduated in 1996. After that he took a job at the hospital in Pakrac. He completed an ultrasound course in 2003, and since 2005 he has been a specialist surgeon. In 2007 he became a permanent court expert witness, and in 2015 a subspecialist in traumatology and orthopedics.
Dr. Bartol trained in Slovenia in laser vein surgery and since 2008 has been part of the team of experts at Poliklinika Maletić.
Born in Koprivnica, she graduated from the School of Medicine of the University of Rijeka in 2006. She then worked in emergency medicine and in the Department of Vascular and Plastic Surgery at Koprivnica General Hospital. She completed her specialist training in general surgery in 2015, followed by a subspecialty in plastic surgery at the KB Dubrava hospital in Zagreb. She completed postgraduate studies at the School of Medicine in Zagreb and earned the academic status of Doctor of Science in the field of biomedicine and health. For the past several years she has worked exclusively in aesthetic medicine and surgery, training in this field at numerous clinics around the world; she perfected hair transplantation in Greece and laser work in aesthetic medicine in Germany.
