Poliklinika Maletic was among the first in Croatia to introduce hair transplantation and is now one of only 6 clinics in the world with this level of international certification. The center is led by Dr. Ana Maletic, MD, PhD, FISHRS and ABHRS Diplomate, one of 260 worldwide and the only surgeon from Croatia with regular ISHRS membership. The clinic performs all four hair transplantation methods: FUE, DHI, Sapphire, and STRIP.
Educational center since 2008
Since 2008, Poliklinika Maletic has been an internationally recognized educational center for laser procedures in cooperation with the Fotona Laser & Health Academy, and a pioneer in laser vein surgery and laser lipolysis in Croatia. Surgeons from the USA, Canada, Australia, Dubai, Russia, Israel, Turkey, and many other countries come to Zagreb and Daruvar to learn advanced methods. The new Daruvar facility includes a lecture room with live transmission from the operating room.

Our team
Poliklinika Maletic is a family clinic in the fullest sense. Specialist physicians, experienced medical staff, and a dedicated nursing team together create an environment where each patient receives excellent care at every step.
The only surgeon from Croatia accepted into regular ISHRS membership and holder of the FISHRS title, awarded to only a small number of experts globally. One of 260 physicians worldwide with the ABHRS Diplomate title. In March 2026, she defended her doctoral dissertation, "The association of hair transplantation with biopsychosocial health factors." Author of CC and SCIE-indexed papers.
Specialist in surgery since 1984 and urology since 1988, with aesthetic surgery training completed in Prague, Switzerland, the USA, Italy, and Austria. Expert Clinical Lecturer na Fotona Akademiji od 2008. Developed a laser-assisted double-chin liposuction method, presented in Paris in 2012. Author of six professional books in Croatian, English, and Italian. Founder of the clinic in Daruvar in 1998.
Graduated from the Zagreb School of Medicine in 1981 and passed the specialist exam in anesthesiology, resuscitation, and intensive care in 1989 at KBC Sestre milosrdnice. Completed professional training in Czechia and Austria. Expert Clinical Lecturer na Laser & Health Akademiji. Key to procedure safety, from pre-anesthesia assessment to postoperative monitoring. Co-founder of the clinic together with her husband, Dr. Dusko.
Graduated from the Rijeka School of Medicine in 2006. Worked in emergency medicine and vascular surgery. Completed specialization in general and plastic surgery at KB Dubrava. Earned a doctorate in biomedicine and health. Trained in hair transplantation in Greece and in laser aesthetic medicine in Germany and Slovenia. In recent years, she has focused exclusively on aesthetic medicine and surgery.
Graduated from the Zagreb School of Medicine in 1996. Specialist in surgery since 2005, permanent court expert since 2007, and subspecialist in traumatology and orthopedics since 2015. He performed the first laser vein surgery in Croatia and has been a permanent member of the Poliklinika Maletic expert team since 2008.
Everyday patient care and the smooth running of the clinic are supported by physicians and an experienced nursing team. Their availability, attention, and professionalism accompany every procedure, recovery, and visit, combining high medical standards with a warm human approach.

The Poliklinika Maletic team regularly takes part in leading global aesthetic surgery congresses as participants and invited lecturers. At the 2025 ISHRS congress in Berlin, Dr. Ana Maletic, MD, PhD presented her own hair transplantation method, while Mr. sc. Dusko Maletic, MD presented his laser method for double-chin removal and lower face and neck tightening in Paris in 2012.
The Maletic team has authored six professional books on aesthetic surgery and hair transplantation, in Croatian, English, and Italian. Dr. Ana Maletic, MD, PhD is the author and co-author of numerous papers indexed in CC and SCIE databases.
Poliklinika Maletic is a pioneer in Croatia in Aptos rejuvenation procedures (2004) and laser vein surgery (2008). They performed the first laser lipolysis and laser-assisted liposuction in 2008. The only institution in Croatia with a physician holding the most prestigious global titles in hair transplantation: ISHRS membership and ABHRS Diplomate.
