Fibromas are benign growths on the skin. They resemble small soft nodules, often on the petal. They are mostly of skin-colour, and their size varies between a few milimeters and a few centimeters in diameter.

They are not malignant, but they grow in number with time, thus presenting a significant aesthetic problem.

They usually appear in middle age, mostly in the places where the skin is rubbed, such as: on the neck, in the groin area, in the armpits, under the breasts and on the belly.

The cause of their occurrence is unknown, but their amount grows throughout a person's lifetime. However, heredity and weight are crucial factors in their occurrence.
