Abdominoplasty
Abdominoplasty is a surgical procedure used to remove the adipose tissue and the accompanying excess skin from the lower abdomen. During the procedure, the physician can tighten the abdominal wall.
The procedure can be combined with the standard Liposuction procedure (according to dr. Avelar, M.D.)
A simple Abdominoplasty procedure can be performed according to dr. Avelar, M.D. under tumescent local anaesthesia. For more complex procedures the general anaesthesia is required, as well as the complete health condition assessment.
The procedure takes 1-2 hours. Following the recovery from anaesthesia, the patient can go home with the recommendation of wearing the corset for the following several weeks. The post-operative scar is hidden beneath the bikini line.
