HR ENG DE SL
Dilated capillaries on the face and legs are a common aesthetic problem, in both men and women. Laser Treatment provides the best results in removing dilated capillaries and small veins. The optical energy of laser beams is used, which is absorbed by hemoglobin found in the red blood cells, thus destroying the treated capillaries. Smaller capillaries disappear immediately, and the bigger ones within a short period of time. The number of sessions the patient needs to undergo depends on the individual and cannot be predicted, but in most cases 1-3 sessions may be enough. Before treatment – sun exposure and tanning beds should be avoided, and the skin thoroughly cleansed. After treatment – the skin may remain red for a brief period of time, and mild swelling may occur. The patient should wear compression stockings of 70 den for the following several days. The patient should avoid sun exposure after the treatment and wear a sunscreen with SPF 50. We recommend avoiding hot tubs, showers or saunas for the first 2 weeks after the treatment.
