Rhinoplasty
The overall appearance and beauty of the face depend on the appearance of its individual parts. The nose is the central feature of the face, contributing to the overall impression of the beauty of the face. Therefore, rhinoplasty is one of the most popular aesthetic surgery procedures, and it is also one of the oldest ones.
The procedure is performed with the aim of eliminating nasal irregularities, such as the nose bump, and shortening or lifting of the nose, thus making the face look refreshed. As a part of the procedure, the deviated nasal septum causing breathing problems can also be corrected.
Prior to the procedure the pre-operative health condition assessment is to be conducted, since more complex procedures are performed under the general anaesthesia.
The procedure takes between 1 and 2 hours. Following the recovery from anaesthesia, the patient can go home with the plaster cast on the nose and nasal tampons in the nostrils. Tampons are removed after 1-2 days following the procedure, and the plaster cast within one week.
