One of the best annual aesthetic surgery conferences. Our Dr Ana Maletić is usually taking part in important meetings, sometimes as a lecturer and sometimes as part of the audience. If you want to know what is going on in the world of aesthetic surgery, you have to be there. Dr Maletić was very fortunate and honoured to meet Dr Foada Nahaia, one of the big names among the experts, whose books she read as a student.

Dr Ana Maletić never misses the annual meeting of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery - ISHRS. A workshop was held as part of the congress, where experiences in the field of hair transplantation were exchanged. There was a lot of useful and new things to see and learn, and it was great to see the colleagues again...
The most prestigious World Congress of Aesthetic Surgery is held every year in New York. Doctors from all over the world prepare their papers for this event for a long time - they write studies and lectures about their successes and experiences and present them to their colleagues. Dr. Ines and Dr. Dušan Maletić were also present at this important event, as we in the Maletić Polyclinic maintain standards and apply techniques in line with the best clinics in the world and are proud of our excellent results and satisfied patients.
Our Dr Ana Maletić knows what is happening on the world market of cosmetic surgery and keeps herself up to date - she was in Hollywood from 10 to 14 October 2018, where this year's ISHRS World Congress (ISHRS - International Society of Hair Surgery) was held. In Hollywood style, the names of the best hair transplant doctors in the world, such as the stars, were written in the stars, of course, the name of our Dr Ana was there, too - the only Croatian member of this prestigious association. Congratulations Dr Ana!
Our doctors visited again the annual international laser conference - this time in Portorož. Among other things, the Maletić Polyclinic is a training centre of the Laser and Health Academy (LAHA) for laser aesthetic surgery and procedures. Dr. Ana Maletić was invited as a guest speaker to give two lectures where she presented the results of our polyclinic collected on more than 2000 patients undergoing liposuction and laser lipolysis. Dr. Ana Maletić also talked about laser-assisted hair transplantation, frenuloplasty and the treatment of active acne.
Like many other experts, physicians also need to keep their knowledge up-to-date. What does that mean? That you cannot rely on the achievements of yesterday and what you have learned so far in medicine. The progress in medicine continues at unbelievable speed, new devices and techniques appear on the market, colleagues develop phenomenal methods and achieve unprecedented results. So, if you want to know what medical professionals around the world have achieved, what has proven to be less effective and what has achieved sensational results, you need to travel, listen to colleagues' presentations, meet with them during breaks and talk about each others’ achievements. And if you have achieved something, then you will give a lecture on that topic and proudly present to your colleagues the results of the Maletić Polyclinic in Zagreb and Daruvar.
20th Annual Congress IMCAS - International Master Course on Aging Science https://www.imcas.com/en - International Conference on Aging Science. The meeting took place in Paris, with 9245 participants from almost all countries of the world, with 240 scientific and 740 professional presentations. In all, 43 professional and scientific international associations and institutes participated in the Congress. The topics were the following: dermatology, plastic surgery and cosmetic science. Dr Ana Maletić knows how important it is to be there to find out what is happening in her area of expertise. She too was in Paris from 1st to 3rd February 2018 to see what's new in cosmetic and plastic surgery. And she also had a lot to say - she introduced to her colleagues the results of the methods in laser cosmetic surgery, laser lipolysis and liposuction, as well as laser skin tightening. All of these methods were developed in the Maletić Polyclinic. The results are excellent, the patients happy - so why not share the experiences with the world?
Dr. Ana Maletić has already attended the next congress. For doctors, the participation in international congresses is of the utmost importance, as it is the place where colleagues exchange the latest experiences and achievements in the respective field - this time the experts for hair transplantation of the ISHRS (International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery). This year the meeting took place in Prague.
